FAQ'S
Real food. I make the food for my dogs using real meats, fruits and veggies. We use all the major proteins such as chicken, turkey, pork and beef. They are not fed that exact same thing each day. Their meat and fruit or veggie is different each day. Like how we humans like to eat. I also add in what I call the "goodies" each day. Goodies are things like an egg, chicken or beef liver, some type of "green", powdered kelp, powdered milk thistle, chia seed, and sardines. "Greens" are alfalfa powder, kale powder, spinach powder, dandelion root powder, cholrella powder and spirulina powder. Any of these greens are loaded with minerals that are very beneficial to the pups and dogs. All of these powders can be purchased on Amazon. In fact, all the fruits and veggies come in freeze dried powders and can be purchased on Amazon as well.
Our farm is just under 10 acres, and we have fenced off the back half of the property and dedicated it as a dog area. The dogs are allowed to freely play within this area during the day from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, provided there is a human present to supervise them. They are then secured at night in a fully renovated "doghouse." The "doghouse" is a large fully air conditioned/heated building with individual areas for each dog, and each dog is provided with a bone to chew on and a bed to sleep in. Each dog also takes turn spending their days within our home, so we can play and socialize with them individually as well. Their food is 100% homemade, which is made fresh each day. More information about how we prepare their diets is available on its own individual FAQ section. Any breeding adult is also "retired" at 6 years of age. Our dogs are not bred past this age, senior dogs are either kept here as personal pets to live out the remainder of their natural lifespans, or they are given to families to whom puppies may not be accessible to live out their golden years as a household pet.
